About

I am Wim Hollebrandse, a self confessed tech geek and software developer who lives in South Wales, UK. Wimdows.com is my personal website which I have owned since 1999.

For people who haven't guessed by the name, I am Dutch. And wear clogs. Day and night. Tulip in hand, chewing on some stringy Edam cheese most of the time and with my inflatable wind mill hat on. There, I think we got the stereotypes covered. Oh, and I'm 7 feet tall. If you believe all of that, you must also be smoking what I'm smoking. Not that I would condone use of any form of drug. Unless it's Omega 3 capsules.

This site has known various incarnations, and has even withstood a battle with the mighty M******** from Redmond. Not that its name is a secret. Or a swear word for that matter. I'm afraid using its name in vain could get me sued based on past experiences. Though you never know, a Leopard may change its spots after all.

Stick around, I'll hope to write posts on anything that I feel I need to vent on. From various technical topics, computers and gadgets to very trivial daily occurrences and happenings. You can find me on Twitter at: http://twitter.com/wimdows .

Thanks for visiting! And no, Edam cheese isn't stringy. Ever.

  • @Tymethief It's all mumbo jumbo, that.
  • @graiz If only we could *actively* engage that right side of our brain eh?
  • @KevJaques That would be because when you try to sleep, your logical brain slows down, and your right side (creative) part takes over.
